About Yazd Cable and Wire Company (شرکت سیم و کابل یزد)

Yazd Cable Company was established in 1980 on a land area of 86,000 square meters. Initially, production was limited to wire, produced in a workshop manner. In 1982, production hall 1 with an area of 6,000 square meters was built and production continued with more variety. In 1997, production hall 2 with an area of 4,800 square meters was built to increase speed, quality and variety of products. In 2008, production hall 3 with an area of 1,000 square meters was built for the production of lead-sheathed cables. Medium voltage cable production began in 2003 with the installation and commissioning of special equipment including the insulation line for medium voltage cables and the screening and armoring line for medium and high voltage cables, and finally the establishment of the high voltage laboratory with a voltage of 350 kV and a power of 6000 VA. In 2009, the first cable with lead sheath was produced. In 2010, by adding an 8-wire production line, the company increased the production volume of control and command cables by up to 100%. The company's production capacity is 25,000 tons per year.
