About Kowsar Pharmaceutical Company (شرکت داروسازی کوثر)

Kowsar Pharmaceutical Company was established in 1973 under the name Chemico Pharmaceutical Company. Initially, it produced oral antibiotic products under license from Beecham Pharmaceuticals of England. Over time, new production lines for non-antibiotic solid oral drugs, generic products, supplements, and natural products in forms such as tablets, capsules, sachets, syrups, and bulk powders were added. In 2021, a production line for solid oral drugs with exposure level 3 and 3+ was added for the production of nervous system drugs and other new drugs. The company is now one of the top five oral antibiotic producers in Iran.
