About IRITEC (ایریتک)

IRITEC (Iran International Engineering Company) was established in 1975 with the participation of the Italian company Italiampianti, the National Iranian Steel Company, and the Bank of Industry and Mine. The company's goal was to transfer technical knowledge for constructing industrial plants in the steel sector, leading to the successful construction of the largest steel complex in the country, Mobarakeh Steel Complex, in the 1980s. In the 1990s, IRITEC became the first contractor in Iran for EPC projects in mining, mineral industries, oil, gas, and petrochemicals, successfully executing industrial projects using modern technology and contributing to engineering education and the growth of domestic manufacturers and contractors. With nearly half a century of experience, IRITEC is one of the five companies in the world licensed to design and build direct reduction units using the Midrex method, and has built 60% of such plants in Iran, making the country the world leader in sponge iron production via direct reduction.
