Hejab Textile Company (Hejab Shahrekord Textile Company) was registered in 1990 (1369) with the aim of producing various types of black chador fabric by the Mostazafan Foundation of the Islamic Revolution. It started operations in 1997 (1376) with an annual production capacity of 5 million square meters of various raw fabrics. Initially focused on weaving raw fabrics, the company expanded its value chain in 2003 (1382) by acquiring Laleh Naghsh factory, adding finishing, printing, and dyeing capabilities. In 2015 (1394), with the addition of Mihan Baf company, the product portfolio expanded to include worsted and semi-worsted fabrics with an annual capacity of 500,000 meters. In 2016 (1395), the company began production of black chador fabric with a capacity of 10 million square meters, joining the knowledge-based companies in the textile industry. In 2022 (1401), a project to increase production capacity to 26 million square meters was initiated.
