About Farafan (فرافن)

Farafan Diagnostic Company was established in 2004 (1383) with the collaboration of a group of specialists in the field of medical diagnostic test production. By starting the production of rapid tests in Iran, an effective step was taken towards self-sufficiency of these products, which has continued in recent years. The company obtained the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Industries and Mines and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, and after inspections by experts from both ministries, began production of rapid diagnostic tests. All equipment used in the production section has been purchased from the best manufacturers in the United States and European countries. Raw materials are also sourced from the best available materials in Iran and worldwide. To maintain quality at international standards, the company signed a contract with Celpax Limited UK to acquire the latest technology for producing these kits, and the products are marketed under the license of that company. Currently, the production line has been developed and more than 15 types of rapid tests are being produced. The research and development unit is also working on producing new tests according to market needs.
