Dena Tire Manufacturing Company was established in 1974 with the participation of Japan's Bridgestone and under the name of Bridgestone Iran, and started operations in 1976 with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons of various bias tires in passenger, van, bus, truck and agricultural groups, as well as radial passenger tires, tubes and flaps. After the Islamic Revolution, the company came under the control of the National Industries Organization, and in 1984 all shares of Bridgestone Japan were transferred to the National Industries Organization and the company was renamed Dena Tire Manufacturing Company. Currently, with a capacity of over 35,000 tons per year, it is the second domestic producer in terms of tonnage and the first in terms of quality.
